In Colorado, sales taxes are imposed by the state government, counties, municipalities, and special districts.  Overlapping boundaries create 754 unique tax jurisdictions, many with different tax bases, rates, and administrators.  This issue brief summarizes information on how local government sales and use taxes are assessed and administered.

This memorandum provides an overview of the 2017 membership of the Opioid and Other Substance Use Disorders Interim Study Committee, the origin and charge of the committee, bill request deadlines and procedures, and information regarding committee staff and the committee website. Information is also provided about the stakeholder task force created to work with the interim study committee.

The Office of Legislative Legal Services prepares the Digest of Bills and Concurrent Resolutions as required under section 2-3-504, C.R.S. The Digest consists of summaries of all bills and concurrent resolutions enacted by the Seventy-first General Assembly at its First Regular Session ending May 10, 2017.
