Local Government and Housing

The local government policy area in Colorado focuses on ensuring that local entities have the resources and authority to implement state policies and meet the needs of their residents. The state supports local governments by providing funding, centralized resources for county elections and human services offices, among others, and technical services in the areas of governance, housing, and property tax administration.
