Colorado is on its 50th Lieutenant Governor. Learn more about the individuals who have held this role at this exhibit. 

Miniature Denver Museum of Nature and Science
First Floor, South Foyer

Come see a miniature model of the Denver Museum of Nature and Science and learn about the museum's history and ties to the Capitol.

Inspired to Serve
3rd Floor Rotunda

As part of the building’s celebrations, the Inspired to Serve exhibit in the 3rd floor rotunda opened this February and will be displayed all year. Featuring photos of all 100 current legislators, it asks two questions: What inspired them to serve? and What is special about their district? This exhibit is meant to inspire Colorado’s future generations to learn about civics and maybe one day run for office themselves. Be sure to head up to the 3rd floor next time you’re in the Capitol and take a look, or take a virtual tour.  

Colorado Day takes place August 1, 2026 at the Colorado State Capitol on 200 E. Colfax Avenue in Denver. The building will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
