Legislative Council Staff

Since 1953, the Colorado Legislative Council Staff (LCS) has served as the nonpartisan research arm of the Colorado General Assembly. The staff serve under the Director of Research and provide support to legislative committees, respond to requests for research and constituent services, prepare fiscal notes, provide revenue projections, and perform other centralized legislative support services such as information technology, visitor services, and more.

Mission

The Colorado Legislative Council Staff provides nonpartisan products and services to the legislature and the public to support and inform the policy-making process, preserve the legislative institution, and promote transparency.

    The resource center, constituent services, and IT technical support staff are located in Room 048. The director, accounting staff, and the visitor services staff are located in Room 011 and at the first floor tour desk.
