During the 2025 legislative session, the Colorado General Assembly considered several measures related to taxes, finance, and the state budget. Also, the General Assembly considered several bills during the 2025 extraordinary session related to matters of taxes and the state budget. 

During the 2024 legislative session, the General Assembly passed several bills related to finance, the state budget, and taxes.

During the 2022 legislative session, the General Assembly considered several bills affecting funding for capital construction and the duties of the Capital Development Committee (CDC).

During the 2019 legislative session, the General Assembly considered a number of bills regarding fiscal policy, taxes, and financial services.  

During the 2018 legislative session, the General Assembly considered measures related to public school funding in Colorado.  Specifically, the legislature considered bills pertaining to kindergarten through twelfth grade (K-12) school funding, tax credits and deductions, grant programs, school building maintenance funding, higher education funding, and funding for full‑day kindergarten.

The General Assembly considered several bills concerning budgeting and the state budget during the 2018 legislative session.

The General Assembly considered bills that modified the responsibilities of the Colorado Department of Revenue (DOR), clarified taxing requirements, and made changes to the tax remittance process.
